The Urgent Truth

When you’re in a hurry….

OK – it’s your mothers voice in your head saying, ‘you should have gone before we left.’  The very simple truth about being organised.  But what happens when you are just not organised.  And you leave things to the very last second and then you go, hang on – how do I get it there in time?

I recently did a talk in Brisbane and in holiday mode left all my materials back at the office.  Not possible to get them all re-printed, and Australia Post, not even an option.  So what could I do?

I recently spoke to an expert on the subject Jason Egbers from My Urgent Courier, about what is the best and most financially viable way of getting something somewhere REAL FAST.  And this is what he had to say….

“The Freight industry is a very complex beast. Without it, supermarkets would be empty, our stores would only have local products and life would be very difficult. In fact we couldn’t imagine life without it.

The only time we think about it is when we need something sent ‘yesterday’ and we want it done for the cheapest possible price. Unfortunately, the freight industry is already doing so much that it already has set schedules and can include your one item but it has to fit into their schedule – not yours. The only way to avoid this set schedule is to organise a VIP or Premium Flight service.

My Urgent Courier allocates the next available local courier to pick up your goods, take them to the airport. Your item then flies to the nearest airport of its final destination. Once it has cleared airport security it is whisked away by another local courier and delivered. It’s that fast and that easy. “

By having 1000’s of couriers around Australia at your finger tips, seems to me like these boys are doing well for themselves.  Great concept and wish I had of known about it 2 weeks ago!

We are humans and we will have many things to do daily. But it is very common that we hear people saying that they didn’t get time for anything. The main reason for this is that they are not organized. We should list out what are the things we have to do and organize our time accordingly. A good example in this regard is the freight industry. They are very organized and fix their schedule according to it so that it is difficult to fit one more item in to it.
