A Day With Success Kicks On...

Thanks to iBidAM.com and Louise Schultze the ‘A Day With Success’ programs are selling out fast, people from all over Australia are flying in to spend one day with a highly successful CEO.  Louise is our most on demand and we think it’s because of her freakish profiling skills.  We had another chat with her and this is what she had to say.

“I’m very taken back that the first year of hosting ‘A Day With Success’ programs are selling out and people are coming from all over Australia to book in.” Louise says.  “It is a great honour that you can be a part of such an important venture in someone’s life, like their very own business.  It’s great to be using my profiling skills again, and I thought I may be a little rusty, but it was just like riding a bike.  Little secret, I am loving it!

I think I am relating well, because I know what it feels like to not be taken seriously in business, what it feels like to feel a little lost with some issues you face, and that there isn’t someone who has done it all before you can go to and say these are my problems what are the solutions, it gives me great pleasure that I can now be that for other people in their business.”

Enough from Louise - so what’s it like from the perspective of those attending?

Here’s a letter from an attendee from the June 2010 A Day With Success.

“Dear Louise,

I wanted to thank you so much for taking the time out of your (what I can only guess) manic schedule to spend a day with 4 ladies who have a vision. What I have taken away from the day is more than just ideas and motivation, it is confidence and understanding of how to and where to start.

Too many conference and workshops give you motivation but no know how and how to. You and your team have truly made such a memorable impact on my direction, focus and drive to achieve that I am unable to construct it into a sentence. THANK YOU.....

I have started my business plan, planning my days and prioritising my time better to structure my company and personal future. I am looking forward to booking into another day hopefully in August to keep things rolling.

I would love if I would still be able to take you up on the offer to help with my marketing plan, as your ideas are ingenious and your experience, well that goes without saying.

Thanks again"  – Kate

What A Woman Wants Starts Here!

I'm back for the 3rd time speaking at one of Australia’s most prestigious and downright amazing events for empowering Women.  It's run by Fabe Keily aptly called What Working Women Want.  And damn it, she has put together an amazing selection of international speakers for this event.  What amazes me is meeting people like Fabe and her husband, who are genuine about what they do.  To the point they fully fund the events, making it a non-for-profit event ensuring that everyone from all walks of society have access to this kind of uplifting experience.  They have priced the tickets at $49.00, but I received an email from them saying they would like to give me some to give out to our readers for FREE.   We have 8 of them left.

The event covers many topics including work / life balance, relationships, finance, business, motivation and health.

Fabe has generously offered iBidAM members 10, only 8 left, FREE tickets to pass on to you.  The value of these tickets is over $1200 each!

It's this weekend 22nd and 23rd of May, I know short notice, at the Citigate Hotel in Sydneyt.  It includes food and drinks and some clinking of cocktail glasses!

I was a little jealous of all this free lovin going around.  So I've decided to give iBidAM members free advertising till Jan 1st 2011, if you attend the event, worth $600.  Just come up to me, at the event, give me your business card and it's all yours!

To claim your free tickets go to http://www.whatwomenwantwealthcreation.com and book.

Be quick so you don’t miss out.  Looking forward to kicking up my heels and clinking up the cocktail glasses with you!

'A Day With Success' is BACK and BETTER than ever!

After a couple of months of guest speakers while Louise was out preparing and competing at the OXFAM 100km Marathon, she is back to host the sell-out ‘A Day With Success’ workshops.

“I’m so excited to be able to host the remaining workshops for the year” Louise says.  “It is a great honour that you can be a part of such an important venture in someone’s life, like their very own business.  When I’m standing giving direct advice one on one, I feel like the maternal health nurse for young mums.   Now there’s a job undervalued!  I know what it feels like as a woman to not be taken seriously in business and sometimes what it feels like to feel a little lost with some issues you face.  Just to go to someone and say these are my problems what are the solutions, it gives me great pleasure that I can now be that for other women in Business.  I loved what Leading Business Women was doing and the results were outstanding, so I did what every other woman does when she recognises great value for money, I bought it.  Now iBidAM owns 50% of Leading Business Women and I get to have a major say in how the programs run.  I’m Big Kev all over again – I’m VERY excited.”

We are also so very excited about this venture and welcome Louise as a partner to Leading Business Women.  Not only do we have her as our guest Mentor every single month, but we have her constant business knowledge on hand all the time.  ‘A Day With Success’ programs are better than they ever have been before. Because of this, we are feeling this Big Kev excitement too.

We would like to share this excitement with you and under Louise’s recommendation we have drop the price of $550.00 to $350.00 all this year.  Typical Louise style of genuine generosity.

So open the invitations above and quickly book in, when Louise is running them they sell out in the day.  There are only 4 spots available each month.  It's on a first in first served basis.

FREECALL 1800 424 326, iBidAM.com head office and leave your details and which month you wish to attend.

(It’s the last Thursday of every month starting this month MAY 27th).

If you can't go, feel free to pass this on to someone you know who may want to go.

Here at Leading Business Women we hope that your career and/or your business are taking you places where joy is in abundance, and we know that where you spend your money is very important so we will only ever bring you real value to you and your business.

If you would like to be a part of any Leading Business Women program as a sponsor or you feel you have some value you would like to add, please call Sue Woollard on 0411 879 404.

The Paid Parental Leave Scheme

As a choice to be a stay at home working mother, I am always championing for more respect and development on a Government level for the rights to/and of parents in Australia when it comes to entering and exiting the workforce to bring up their children.  I would like to see a work force where children are simply a part of the way we do everything and pregnant women, can continue to work from home or in the office where their children are top priority.  Addressing these issues was a political campaign for Rudd leading up to his election, and I was wondering when we were going to hear anything about it.  Well, here is the first introduction to change.  The Paid Parental Leave Scheme.  It's nice to see they haven't segregated women and men from parental roles and a direct financial support for the biggest job in the world they are about to undertake.

Monday 23 November 2009

The Australian Government is proposing to introduce a Paid Parental Leave (PPL) scheme as part of the 2009/10 Federal Budget. The proposed scheme will be made available for parents who are primary carers of children that have been born or adopted on or after 1 January 2011.

To be eligible for the proposed PPL scheme, the primary carer must have:

  • been engaged in work continuously for at least 10 of the 13 months prior to the birth or adoption date of the child
  • undertaken at least 330 hours of paid work in the 10 month period (an average of around one day of paid work a week).

Legislation for the proposed scheme will be introduced into Parliament in 2010.

So far, it's a good start, however I would like to see them stop using the word "scheme".  If someone said "I have a good scheme for you", one eyebrow would uncontrollably arch.  Anyway, as I said it's a start, and the only person I can think of that wouldn't be happy with looking at this would be my mother.  Only because she missed out with the 10 of us.  Just a little bit p#ssed off!  Love ya mum.  ;)
